An exhibition dedicated to the 110 year anniversary of the Plast Ukrainian Scouting organization, as well as the 100 year anniversary of one of its oldest fraternities, the “Lisovy Chorty”, opened in the Lviv Historical Museum on May 18, 2022.

Throughout the history of the organization, Plast scouts have demonstrated their ability to accomplish those goals that they have set, whether they are fighting for the freedom of their nation, or working daily to bolster the Ukrainian spirit. Today, members of Plast are actively engaged in establishing a national spirit over all of their ethnic territory.

The exhibit is not all encompassing. Its creators aimed to show, by highlighting several key examples, the multifaceted nature of the work done by Plast. Special attention was devoted to the Plast kyrin or fraternity “Lisovy Chorty”, who are commentating their 100 year anniversary this year. Many individuals spotlighted in the exhibit are members of this illustrious group.

Separately, many facets of the organization that have remained beyond the scope of researchers were also highlighted, including the enlightening work of educators in Plast during the Soviet period in Ukraine, during the 1960-1980s.
